Chili’s Grill & Bar, a favorite hangout for those who love fajitas, burgers or ribs over margaritas, held the grand opening of its new home on the second floor of Tumon Sands Plaza Thursday.
The restaurant moved from its standalone location in the Guam Premier Outlets complex.
"In our continuing commitment to the island that we have called home for the past 10 years, Chili’s has invested anew on Guam with the building and design of the new restaurant in the heart of Tumon," Chili's management stated in a press release.
The new location features inviting and relaxing interiors.
"The design – the latest iteration of the Chili’s brand, inspired by its rich Tex-Mex heritage and identity – highlights the relaxed, casual atmosphere that the founders established while incorporating a modern industrial concept," the restaurant stated.
"The lighting and artwork evoke a modern retro vibe while the wide glass panels promote natural light and openness within the dining area," the restaurant added.
The 140-seat restaurant also features tall bar tables and a community table for better social interaction. Patio seating will allow guests to enjoy the warmth of Guam’s weather while overlooking the hustle and bustle of Pale San Vitores Road, the restaurant stated.
The restaurant displays central wall art by local artist Jeff Ejan, which brings the beauty of Guam into the restaurant's dining area.
