The Guam Visitors Bureau has announced the promotion of Nadine Leon Guerrero to director of Global Marketing and Nico Fujikawa to director of Tourism Research in the marketing and research departments, respectively.
Leon Guerrero joined GVB in January 1994 and has played key roles in several promotional campaigns and initiatives for Guam's visitor markets of Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, North America and the Philippines. She was the marketing manager of the greater China market prior to her promotion.
Fujikawa started at the bureau in September 2016 as its senior tourism research analyst. He has advanced with many key projects under his helm, including the recently revised Customs declaration forms and a new data analytics system that improves the accuracy of arrival statistics, GVB stated.
Fujikawa completed his bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in finance and economics at the University of Guam.
