The Guam Visitors Bureau seeks the community's feedback on the Tourism 2020 plan. GVB is working to develop a new strategic vision for the island’s tourism industry, according to a press release.

The current Tourism 2020 strategic plan was launched in February 2014 with the vision of transforming Guam into a world-class, first-tier resort destination of choice, according to the release. The plan had eight core objectives to guide Guam’s tourism industry into the year 2020.

“As 2020 approaches, the bureau has started development on the next strategic plan and we would like to gain valuable insights from our local businesses, industry professionals, and island community in evaluating our existing Tourism 2020 plan that we launched back in 2014,” said GVB Chairman P. Sonny Ada.

GVB President and CEO Pilar Laguaña added, “We kindly ask for your honest opinions and ratings to help us in our efforts in creating a new strategic plan to continue making Guam a better place to live, work and visit!”

The Tourism 2020 survey was produced by the GVB Research Department and takes approximately 15 minutes to complete, officials state.
