United Airlines announced yesterday that it has expanded its Guam-Manila service to daily from five-times weekly beginning Sept. 7. The expanded service provides Guam customers with more options to travel to Manila and daily connections for Manila passengers connecting to United’s Guam-Saipan service and Guam-Honolulu flights for further connections to the U.S. mainland, according to a release from the airline.

“United continues to find opportunities to provide better connections for its customers in the region," said Sam Shinohara, United's managing director of Airport Operations for Asia-Pacific. "The Guam-Manila flight is an important service for Guam residents seeking medical care in the Philippines and Philippines travelers looking to connect to the mainland U.S. through Guam and Honolulu.”

United is adding flights on Monday and Thursday. The new schedule is as follows:

- Flight UA 183 departs Guam at 7:25 p.m. and arrives Manila at 9:10 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
