A delegation from the Philippines' Western Visayas region is visiting Guam from Sept. 10-16 to engage government officials and the private sector with the possibility of establishing direct flights between Guam and Iloilo, the delegation stated in a press release.
The agriculture, trade, investment, tourism and cultural mission to Guam group will have 22 members. Tourism officials, city mayors, travel agencies, real estate professionals and business owners will be part of the delegation, according to its press release.
The delegation is expected to meet with Gov. Lou Leon Guerrero on Wednesday.
The delegation will host a Western Visayas Expo and Fashion Show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Micronesia Mall center court.
