Christmas is in full swing for the island. Here are some of events you can bring the family to in the upcoming weeks. From hanging out with Santa to a full-on light show or a symphony by the sea, there's something for everyone.
Worlds of Wonder
Colorful and brightly lit, the Christmas array, which is sponsored by the Guam Visitors Bureau, started Dec. 5 and will run until the end of the month. The lights turn on nightly from 6-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The lights are on extended hours Friday to Sunday when they close at 11 p.m. The holiday array is located next to Tumon Sands Plaza. The annual display features Santa's elves, his reindeer and a tropical Christmas theme that embraces the Hafa Adai spirit. Expect a crowd, but take the family for a free evening of beautiful pictures and enjoy the colors of Tumon.
Guam Territorial Band
Guam's official band invites the community to its upcoming performances.

Governor's Holiday Home & Christmas Festival
• Holiday Home at Government House in Agana Heights is open from 6-8:30 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays until Jan. 7.
• Christmas lights at the Guam Museum and Skinner Plaza will be lit at sundown until Jan. 7. Check out live entertainment at the outdoor stage every Saturday.
Hilton Holiday Train
The Holiday Train at the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa is on display at the main lobby. Proceeds of this year's event will go to the Autism Community Together. For more information, call 646-1835 ext. 5501.
'Let There Be Peace' St. Fidelis Friary Christmas Village Display
The annual Christmas display returns to the Agana Shopping Center, open from 6–9 p.m. until Jan. 6. There is no entrance fee.
Gingerbread House Weekends
The Dusit Thani Guam Resort will be hosting its annual Gingerbread House event. Set for 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 15 at the Dusit, participants can decorate their very own gingerbread houses. The cost is $35 and reservations are recommended. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get your space.
Clifford's Christmas Candy Land
Join PBS Guam at SkyZone for a day with Clifford the big red dog. Slated for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Dec. 14 at SkyZone in the Agana Shopping Center, the event promises to be a day of fun for the family. PBS Kids' Club members pay $15 for two hours of jump time, skysocks and five raffle tickets. Nonmembers will be charged $18 for skysocks and two hours of jump time.
Enjoy an ornament-decorating party intended to support individuals with disabilities. From 1-4 p.m. Dec. 15, admission is free and all are welcome. Presented by Newgen, the event will be held at the AMC Clinic at 263 Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway, Mangilao.
GAIN Candy Cane Lane
Guam Animals in Need will be sponsoring a variety fair Dec. 22 from 4-8 p.m. at the Dededo Senior Center. Admission is one bag of nonclumping litter per four family members. The fair will include food, games, crafts and more for all the island's pet lovers.
Christmas 70 years later
St. Francis Catholic School will be celebrating its 70th anniversary with timeless Christmas music, featuring the Guam Territorial Band, Wednesday, Dec. 18, at the St. Francis Multi-Purpose Building. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; Show time is 7 p.m. Tickets are being sold for $10 in the school's main office. There will be a Christmas tree lighting, a free marshmallow kiddie station and door prize drawings. Call the SFCS main office at 789-1270 for more information.
