The Okkodo High School Bulldogs raised some Halloween scares on Saturday and Sunday evening with their haunted house at the Dededo school's campus.
Stretching the length of the campus, the senior class turned the school's hallways and classrooms into a thrilling search for "Lucy." Eerie music and a child's nursery rhyme served as the perfect soundtrack to the shuffling feet and whispers of the various ghosts and zombies who wandered the darkened hallways. A trip to Lucifer's Den, a possession and a doctor's nightmare kept the audience moving quickly through the 15-minute tour.
The Okkodo haunted house served as a fundraiser for the Class of 2020, which is looking to offset graduation and prom costs.
Senior class president Kyona Rivera said she was pleased with the night's outcome, attributing the positive reviews to the hard work of the Bulldogs senior class.
"The success of our haunted house was definitely one of the books," she said, adding Lucy's storyline tied up the entire experience into the perfect spooky package. "We wanted to do something different that will leave our mark at Okkodo High School."
