With the "BER" months in full swing, the island's teens are jumping right into the holiday spirit and embracing the season of giving. From participating in fundraisers for quality organizations, such as Harvest House or Salvation Army, to performing in Christmas concerts, the weekends and evenings are full of activities. 

Here are a few events you can check out that are free of charge and are guaranteed to put you in the Christmas spirit.

Guam Territorial Band

Guam's official band invites the community to its upcoming performances.

Dec. 13, 8 a.m. – Flag-raising ceremony at the Guam Congress Building

Dec. 13, 7 p.m. – Christmas Cantata, Academy of Our Lady of Guam in Hagåtña

Dec. 14, 6 -8:30 p.m. – Rota walk at Andersen Air Force Base

The Guam Symphony Society's Bel Canto Group & the Dandan Famagu'on Children's and Youth Choir will be celebrating the holidays with a series of performances across the island over the next three weeks.

Governor's Holiday Home & Christmas Festival

• Holiday Home at Government House in Agana Heights is open from 6-8:30 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays until Jan. 7.

• Christmas lights at the Guam Museum and Skinner Plaza will be lit at sundown until Jan. 7. Check out live entertainment at the outdoor stage every Saturday.
