Residents of the Northern Mariana Islands can report damage to their homes as a result of Supertyphoon Hagibis via a new hotline.
The Office of the Governor and the Federal Emergency Management Agency have set up a hotline for individuals to call in and report any new damage to their homes or household goods, the press release states.
The hotline will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct.12.
Incoming calls will be referred to field assessors, who will visit the residences to assess the validity of the reported damage, the press release states.
Officials reiterated that the hotline is only for new damage as a result of Supertyphoon Hagibis.
The hotline is 237-8000.
