SAIPAN – A woman who was reported missing last week was seen entering a poker arcade near Micro Beach Hotel where she works at 11 p.m., Nov. 24. Video footage from a surveillance camera also showed that she left the establishment at 2:44 a.m., Nov. 25, and walked toward the direction of American Memorial Park.
Florita Arbas Rivera, 63, was last seen by her co-workers at Micro Beach Hotel in Garapan late Sunday evening, Nov. 24.
Lorna Rivera, her sister-in-law, told Variety that on Saturday, Nov. 30, she and her husband spent four hours reviewing video footage from a surveillance camera of a poker arcade beside the hotel.
Lorna said the video showed Florita entering the poker arcade before midnight, Nov. 24, and exiting the establishment early morning, Nov. 25.
Lorna said the cashier did not notice Florita as there were many players that night. Lorna added that police investigation is ongoing, saying that police told her they will immediately call her if there is any update.
Florita’s co-workers became concerned when she did not show up for work on Nov. 25 at Micro Beach Hotel where she has been employed as a live-in housekeeper for over 20 years.
The Department of Public Safety is encouraging members of the public to call 911 anytime if they have any information on the whereabouts of Florita Arbas Rivera.
