Economic forum features visiting philanthropist

FORUM: Gina Lopez, an internationally known philanthropist and sustainability advocate from the Philippines, headlined a full house of about 300 attendees during Bank of Guam's 2018 Fall Economic Forum on Tuesday. This year’s forum included a "Green Zone," which featured sustainability interests and entrepreneurs. Joe Bradley, the bank's senior vice president/chief economist, stated, "The environment is our economy and the economy is our environment." Lopez stated she was impressed by Guam's natural beauty and encouraged small actions by individuals and businesses to protect the primary source of the island's economic growth: the beach waters that draw tourists.
