Island residents who receive benefits from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, and Cash Assistance Program can expect delays.
The Department of Public Health and Social Services said issuance for this month may be delayed by four to five working days.
The governor declared a state of emergency earlier this week for the agency after DPHSS' main office was deemed unsafe following an electrical fire.
The Guam Fire Department assessed the building and deemed it unsafe.
DPHSS is asking for the public's patience as it moves to get all services back in full operation.
