The Guam Waterworks Authority is replacing the pump and motor for the Agana Heights water well.
The well, which feeds water to Agana Heights and Sinajana had gone down, which meant low to no water pressure for residences and businesses in the area.
Another crew also was working to restore water in Asan, which also had an emergency water outage today. GWA expects the work to be completed and water service restored to the three villages by 8 p.m. tonight (Aug. 24).
Shortly after 2 p.m., GWA announced another outage. Crews are currently working on a main waterline break in Santa Rita. The anticipated restoration in Santa Rita is midnight, according to GWA officials.
