Hundreds line up for food distribution

FOOD DISTRIBUTION CONTINUES: Jimmy Tenorio, a member of the Americorps program Ayuda Para I Komunidat, helps load boxes of food commodities into the trunk of a vehicle at Tiyan on Friday morning. In a continuous effort led by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and The Emergency Food Assistance Program, goods were supplied from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to island residents who are still in need of assistance. A line of cars was seen before the distribution started. A total of 750 bags consisting of fresh fruits and vegetables were given to those in need. Haruo Simion/The Guam Daily Post
