Man found dead at park identified

A man found dead at the Tamuning Mayor's Office park more than a week ago has been identified.

The Guam Medical Examiners Office confirmed that Jon C. Aguon, 49, died on Nov. 18. The cause of death was listed as "natural" and cited heart disease.

Aguon was found at one of the park pavilions and police were called around 7 a.m. according to the Guam Police Department.

The body was removed from the area around 8:40 a.m.

Homeless people frequent the park and sleep in it, said workers at the Mayor's Office.
