The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints presents $5K check to AOLG Walking Nuns


SHARING IN THE CARING: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Department recently donated $5,000 to the Sisters of Mercy and the Academy of Our Lady of Guam Walking Nuns to help those who are homeless and in need. AOLG, the Sisters of Mercy and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints join advocates worldwide in helping their brothers and sisters. The Guam Chamber of Commerce announced Wednesday that its board of directors unanimously elected its slate of officers for the 2021 administrative year.
Though COVID-19 decreased turnout for this school year’s Junior Achievement Company Program, organizers called students’ performances “absolutely spectacular.”
The South Korean company that Guam Power Authority chose to build an 88-megawatt solar farm on Guam bought the solar panels to complete the project from a company in China.
