Paying respects, remembering victims at massacre site

FENA CAVE: Patricia Toves Diaz, in front, is assisted by United States Marines to the entrance of Fena Cave on the Ordnance Annex in Santa Rita on Friday morning. The Ordnance Annex was formerly known as Naval Magazine Guam. The cave was the site of a massacre in July 1944, when Japanese soldiers killed more than 30 young men and women from Agat and Sumay with grenades and bayonets in the caves near Fena Lake. Norman M.
