Author Walt Goodridge will hold a writer’s workshop for aspiring authors later this month at the DNA Building in Tamuning. Goodridge will give step-by-step instruction on how to turn an idea for a book into a reality during the three-hour workshop on July 20.
Goodridge is a graduate of Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, who left the field to pursue his passion for writing. He has authored more than two dozen books, including "Turn Your Passion into Profit."
Goodridge said his philosophy has been featured in several national publications. The author, who lives on Saipan, has written several books about the islands including "Jamaican on Saipan," "Chicken Feathers & Garlic Skin: Diary of a Chinese Garment Factory Girl on Saipan," "Saipan Living Relocation Guide," "Doing Business on Saipan," "Saipan Now: A Photo Adventure," "There's Something About Saipan" and "From Bugle Boy to Battleship: A Battle of Saipan & Battle of Guam Veteran’s Memoirs."
