In recognizing the impact these losses have on our families, schools, and community and island, the Guam Behavioral Health and Wellness Center, in collaboration with other government agencies, community organizations and stakeholders, will be hosting a series of events to highlight the importance of Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month throughout the month of September. 

Sept. 20: Gametime Inc., Break the Silence Wave, 4-6 p.m. at Paseo Loop

Sept. 21: Gametime Inc., Hope Slam “Slamming the Door to Suicide” benefit concert, 6 p.m. at Governor Joseph Flores Memorial Park

Sept. 21: LifeWorks Guam, Out of the Darkness Walk, 5:15 a.m. at Micronesia Mall

Sept. 25: I’Pinangon Suicide Prevention Forum, 6-9 p.m. at the University of Guam Lecture Hall

Sept. 27: Gametime Inc., Break the Silence Wave, 4-6 p.m., Barrigada tri-intersection (Route 8 and Route 10)

Sept. 26-28 at 7 p.m., and Sept. 29 at 2 p.m.: Breaking Wave Theatre Company “Unspoken: A Mental Health Anthology” at the University of Guam Theatre
