Shortly after midnight on July 9, officers from the Tumon Precinct Command responded to a reported stabbing at the Ocean Plaza Building in Tumon.

Preliminary reports suggest the victim was stabbed by a man described as possibly Micronesian with his hair tied in a ponytail, in his late 20s to early 30s, and standing about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. The suspect was last seen by the stairway of the building wearing a shirt with its sleeves cut out and dark-colored shorts.

The victim sustained injuries that required immediate medical care.
