United Airlines is planning to add three flights between Guam and Osaka Japan in December.
The airline has announced that it will increase its flights to Osaka from seven times a week now to 10 weekly flights effective December 10, stated United’s Senior Sales Manager for Micronesia Paula Monk.
The increased flights to Osaka’s Kansai airport will be serviced by a Boeing 737-700.
“We’re really excited about adding three additional flights,” said Monk during a radio interview on The Point Tuesday Morning with host Ray Gibson.
Monk said the 10 weekly flight service to Osaka from Guam will be in effect at least through the winter season which ends on March 31.
“Hopefully," said Monk, the service might be extended beyond that date "depending on demand, we’ll see."
The United announcement is also posted on the Centre for Aviation website.
