About $2 million in tax refund checks will be cut on Monday, said Department of Administrator Director Edward Birn.
Tax refund checks usually get cut on a Friday, but he said money is tight, with the GovGuam payday and July being a low cash-flow month for the government.
"So we’re not cutting them (today); we’re going to cut them on Monday and we’ll give you the details of the actual refund on Monday,” said Birn.
“It's probably $2 million,” he said of the amount.
Last week, tax refunds went out for those who filed error-free tax returns on Feb. 8 and some of those who filed Feb. 9.
