About Us

The Guam Daily Post isn't just about gathering and reporting news – we strive to create a sense of community for anyone who calls Guam home. Whether it's the latest laws, fiesta celebrations, court cases, graduations or 5Ks, this newspaper is dedicated to keeping the community posted about happenings on Guam and in the region.

We began our journey in the print journalism industry in 2004 as Marianas Variety-Guam, a subsidiary of Younis Arts Studio, Inc. doing business as Marianas Variety News and Views founded in 1972 in Saipan by Abed E. Younis. After 10 years in publication, Marianas Variety-Guam was acquired by Guam Daily Post LLC and on Sept. 1, 2015 became The Guam Daily Post.

We hope you enjoy our news coverage as much as we enjoy covering the news.
