The University of Guam women's soccer team signed Tara Usita-Lee to a UOG Athletic Letter of Intent and partial tuition scholarship to play for the Tritons in 2019-20.

A familiar face on the local pitch and island's tennis scene, Usita-Lee has played forward and midfield for Quality Distributors and Guam Shipyard in the premier division. In tennis, she was named MVP two years in a row for the Independent Interscholastic Athletic Association of Guam Tennis League. She was also crowned all-island champ while playing tennis for the Academy of Our Lady of Guam Cougars in high school.

Internationally, Usita-Lee represented the island in Vietnam while she was a member of the 13U team. She also played on the Guam Junior National Tennis Team at the Oceania Junior Championships in Fiji in 2014.

The Lady Tritons are coming off a 12-3-1 season in 2018-19 and finished second in the Guam Football Association Amateur League. UOG has not decided what division the team will play in 2019-20 yet.
