The University of Guam women's soccer team will conduct tryouts at 4 p.m. Saturday, July 27, behind the UOG Calvo Field House.

Gary Larkin, UOG head coach, is looking to fill the roster for the 2019-2020 season.

According to information provided in a press release, scholarships may be awarded. Making the team does not guarantee monetary, or other, compensation.

Athletes wishing to try out for the green-and-gold must be full-time students, registered for the fall and spring semesters, and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA. Students receiving scholarships, held to a higher standard, must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Freshmen, held to a higher standard, must possess a minimum 3.0 GPA. Transfer students, such as those enrolling from Guam Community College, must possess a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Larkin, with eight players on the roster, hopes to add at least eight more talented athletes.
